Why Drug Testing?

Nowadays, drug testing is more popular than ever among employers who want to protect themselves and their companies from illegal drug users. Small businesses have even begun to issue routine and random drug tests in order to weed out potential employees with undesirable habits. After all, no one wants to hire someone who might miss too much work or steal from the company.
But employers aren’t the only ones testing for illegal drug use. Many life and health insurance companies are also testing potential policyholders to be sure they’re drug-free. These companies would rather not take their chances with drug users due to the fact that their odds of contracting life-threatening diseases are greater than non-users. Therefore, many companies will issue drug tests before policies are issued. Pass a urine drug test.
